16 weeks today!!!
The babies are in full bloom and my belly is now showing! I had been noticing peoples looks recently towards my belly area, so I decided today I was actually going to spare people their curiousity about my growing belly. So when I got my first glance while standing in line at the register at my local Starbucks, I stated matter of factly slapping the sides of my belly (okay tapping) "Yes, I'm pregnant and not fat!" I was now on a roll and excited about making this announcements to any familar face that made a glance my way! Telling the world now,I wanted to do even more to celebrate at being pregnany at 16 weeks and knew had to do with pampering myself and Jordan in some way! I also wanted to focus on writing and relaxing, which had not been much since becoming pregnant, but where was I going to get away to do this? I kept debating on whether I would go home or spoil myself and go all out and check into the 1920's hotel right next door. How romantic and special that thought was and the more I thought about it I couldn't resist the idea. I know, sounds like a bit much; but being pregnant with triplets is a bit much and I wanted to celebrate with my triplets, so that is what I set out to do! Entering the hotel with an overnight bag, I proudly state to the lady sitting behind the desk; and of course with a sideways tada stance and my hands placed on my hips, "So what do you think?" The attendant (who I have gotten to know over the years) dropped her jaw, got up, and ran around the desk hugging me and with astonsishment says "How is that possible, I just saw you and now you are pregnant, repeating how absolutely beautiful and radiant I looked. Little did she know that there was a bit more to the news that I was getting ready to tell her, so while holding her hands, I hesitate and say "Well, there is a little more to this pregnancy, there's not one there are three" While still holding my hands and stepping a few steps back, she turned to Jordan who had been standing there all along, stating "Oh my you are going to have to pamper your mom and massage her and get her tea!!!" So off we went to our room, I didn't get the foot massage but I sure did get the tea!
Becoming pregnant with triplets, I had not prepared myself or even considered the impact of peoples reactions. I have to say that reaching 16 weeks has been the best 16 weeks of my life and in more than one way. I love that my husband and I have been blessed with a second chance at parenthood and blessed all at once with triplets. I love seeing the joy on peoples faces when they hear the news of our little ones. I feel blessed that I am healthy and that I have yet to feel tired or nauseous. AND, I feel blessed that we will have the family that we always dreamed and longed for.
Sayng this - I will now rest and rise to the challenge of running my last race in the morning (yes race). My husband and I will run the 8K Paw Paw race for the homeless pets, just as we did last year. He sure is gloating and looking forward to his first victory of out running his pregnant wife with triplets at 16 weeks....WOW! so he thinks; maybe, but I am more inclined to feel, heck why not... let him!!!
So,until next time, Running with Triplets, is turning the lights out!
I have decided to fullfill OUR unfullfilled dream of having a family. Many will think but why now? This is the time you should enjoy your lives. The list of "why" is already understood. But I say, life cannot be enjoyed with longing for the dream. Family is the dream. This is what permeates our minds.

Maternity Clothes!!!!
A wardrobe of maternity clothes arrived on Thursday from my dear cousin Sonia which she had worn with both her pregnancies! I felt like a little kid at christmas time, with a feeling of excitement, when I opened up the box and saw an entire wardrobe of clothes! I immediately took the box upstairs and put on myvery first outfit and headed outside for a picture! I am set. Thank you cousin Sonia!!!!

Hearing the word Triplets.
Learning that I am pregnant with "Triplets" has not only given me joy, but has added a little bit of joy to the one hearing the news. Thus far the only family members that know of my pregnancy are my sisters, my mother, and my cousin Sonia a,nd my husbands brothers and their family. Their reaction has been shock, but thrilled at the same time. Now as far as work, EVERYONE knows. I started to make the announcement at my 6 week mark. Early, huh?? I've heard of the lets wait 10 week mark, but couldn't do it! When my little baby beans showed all their little heart beats at my 6 week ultraound, how could I resist? I couldn't! I immediatley showed my picture of my little baby beans in their three little sacs to anyone I could. I even told the taxi driver and happily passed over the photo to the front. The rest of the drive was a delight and I felt more than blessed when I crawled out. That conversation will last a life time. He claimed that I was a very special person and how blessed my life had become. Life is everything he says, we work so hard to make car payments, mortgage payments and work our way through life but with family, it is forever. He spennt the rest od the 30 minute ride talking about me and the direction my life was taking and I soaked it all up! Anyways, back to peoples responses of hearing "I am pregnant, and I'm pregnant wih Triplets". I wish I had written them down as they occured, but here are just a few and will add more as I continue to spread the word!
-Oh My God... and it's Oh My God at least three times, okay maybe 5.
-Three?? Your'e having triplets? Yes, that's what I said.
-What are you going to do? OMG, (another 3 times).
-Your eating for four.
-So can I have one?I have always wanted twins, but triplets?
-Your not going to be abe to work.
-Why are you working?
-You are going to be a celebrity with all the nurses and doctors when there born.
-No more coffee for you. Why are you drinking coffee?
-Your going to need three of everything!
No matter what the response; the reaction is always the same... THE look of stun and droppping of the jaw and the words OH MY GOD!
So as I finish typing, the timing of a screaming "baby" is at the table behind me. What is that going to sound like, times three I think to myself?

Today YOU are 7 weeks. I knew you would exist, but I did not know that YOU would not be alone. There are three of YOU. You three will grow together and I will do all I can to nuture you and love you as I prepare to bring you into this world. Your Daddy stood above me yesterday at our appointment to hear your heart beats for the very first time. We waitied to hear the words, "there are three" and we did!

Dreams do come true.
I see you running through the grass jumping and laughing as I stood by the window. The dream of you is real. I can only dream now but I know dreams do come true. You will be loved forever.

Perfect Dreams
So today I am thinking of you. You don't even exist yet but in our minds you do. I dream about you everyday. I know your Daddy does too. Today is a beautiful sunny day with a chill in the air. It's the middle of March but now the days begin to become warmer. Your brother and I are busily organizing our home so it will be perfect for you when you come into this world. Daddy is sleeping and he too is busily preparing our other home. Today we got the gas turned on where Dadddy mostly sleeps. The water heater was broke. I asked the gas man to knock on the window where Dadddy was sleeping. Now we have heat and hot water and I can visit that home more often and help Daddy make it even more perfect. When Mommy is carrying you she wants you to grow with a great environment. It will be fun to create that and I promise to make it perfect in every way for you.
